Keyword Research Services – Instacash Tested To Destruction

Chances are you struggle (like I do) with finding good keywords. Finding keywords isn’t actually the problem. I have a problem finding good ones.

I always believed that Google’s keyword tool gave highly accurate results. Why wouldn’t I? Big company like that shouldn’t be giving false figures. Turns out they do and they don’t.

Any data you get isn’t accurate. But it will have been spot on at some time. I stumbled across the solution to this particular conundrum.

I homed in on a key phrase with roughly 5000 competing websites. I was pretty confident I could get a result from that. I started banging articles out left right and centre. Hundreds in fact.

Pretty soon I noticed over 9000 competitors. I was downhearted at this new revelation. Maybe it was going to be far more difficult than I imagined. It turned out that my articles were showing on these sites and ranking for the keyword.

What I’m saying is that I would have left it alone had I saw over 9000 competing sites. As a lot of them were mine (or had my article on) I was competing against my self most of the time. A good result all round in my opinion.

Anyway, I decided to give a keyword research service a try as I couldn’t count on getting lucky every time. Getting a daily list of quality keywords sent is something that appeals to me. I did a few calculations and came to the conclusion that research services, though not cheap, were value for my dollar.

Travis Sago was offering a service which I decided to try. Travis is the original bum marketer. Bum (article) marketing is something I enjoy as it’s almost free.

It takes me an hour or two to come up with a couple of decent keywords. Getting them delivered is a huge help. Two hours or so to me is quite valuable. If I weigh the cost each day against my two hours work it clearly becomes value for money.

I get a lot of emails from gurus banging on about outsourcing. And what I’m trying here is simply that. I’m simply outsourcing the job to a keyword research service.

If you’re interested in how the trial of the Instacash service went then head on over to my web site. I mentioned earlier about getting thousands of articles published for a good keyword. I’ll let you into that little secret on my site.

Keyword Research Services – Follow My Test Of The Instacash Keyword Service

Chances are you struggle (like I do) with finding good keywords. I can find lots of them. Most of what I find are useless though.

I thought the data from Google’s keyword tool was always bang on. After all, they should be giving out accurate info. Well, that’s not always the case.

Any data you get isn’t accurate. But it probably was at the time they put it together. I accidentally discovered the answer to that puzzle.

I targeted a keyword that ’said’ it had about 5000 competing web pages. I was pretty confident I could get a result from that. I started churning out articles by the bucket load.

Soon after I noticed Google telling me there was about 9000 competing pages now. I was downhearted at this new revelation. Maybe it was going to be far more difficult than I imagined. I was relieved to see that an awful lot of these competitors were showing my articles.

My point being is that I’d have swerved this keyword if I had seen nine thousand competitors. A lot of these sites were ranking with my article so I had a lot of competition but most of it was my own articles. A nice situation to be in!

Anyway, I decided to give a keyword research service a try as I couldn’t count on getting lucky every time. My hope was to get some ‘killer’ keywords delivered by email every day. I had figured that the daily cost against how much work I would save is value for my money.

I chose to give Travis Sago’s Instacash keyword service a go. After all, he’s the king of the bum marketers. Bum marketing only costs my time so it’s my kind of marketing.

If I can get a keyword or two in my in box each day then that saves me valuable time. At least a two hour saving. If I can save two hours work each day that’s something I’ll grab with both hands. If I weigh the cost each day against my two hours work it clearly becomes value for money.

My email inbox is usually full of stuff going on about how outsourcing is the way forward. I reckon there’s not much difference here. I’m simply outsourcing the job to a keyword research service.

If you want to hear about my trial of the Instacash service get yourself over to my website. I also mention earlier about thousands of articles published for one keyword. I’ll explain how I did that on my site.

Keyword Research: In House or Outsource

Should I hire keyword research or can I do it myself effectively?

A number of related issues go into the answer to that core question. Among the most important of those are these:

1. How fully you understand finding the keywords pertinent to your niche and those that are closely related to your niche

2. The various software tools that are available to your company

3. Familiarity with using those keyword research tools

4. Your ability to interpret the results so that you are able to separate the useful words and phrases from those that will have little business significance

5. The overall amount of money that you have available for business development

As you can see, all of these come down to what you know and how much money you have to dedicate to this part of your Internet business plan. I’ll go into each of those a little more deeply

What You Must Understand

Identifying relevant keywords and phrases is as important as any other part of your new business. In fact, it is more important than most of your planning. The lengthy list that you generate is central to all of your marketing efforts in the short and long term. The tactics impacted include your article marketing, your search engine optimization, your paid advertising and your copywriting. In other words, without a good foundation of keyword research, all other aspects of your marketing will suffer.

There are many tools available online. Some are free to use, such as Google’s tool; others are not. It is important to use multiple tools for your research, because results will different based upon the databases that the tools consult and the formulas with which they conduct their searches. You should gather information comparing [various |]keyword research software options.

Most of the tools are relatively easy to use, but the interpretation of your results can be difficult unless you have experience in doing so. Not all of the keywords that are uncovered are of equal value to a business, and the number of searches for any given keyword does not automatically make that keyword of greater importance to you particular business than another keyword that draws much less traffic.

Budget

If the amount in your budget for early business development endeavors, this area merits the allocation of its share of those funds. The expense of outsourcing keyword research is rather modest when you consider the potential return on that investment. I recommend that, if you do hire professionals for this task, that you make sure that they also do a competitive analysis of your industry or niche and offer advice concerning how to use the findings of the study to your competitive advantage.

Sometimes, although not always, researching keywords is part of an overall search engine optimization (SEO) package. Consequently, if you plan to invest in such a large scale purchase, there is usually no point in buying a keyword or niche research package as well. If you choose to go this route, make sure you understand exactly how thorough your SEO company will be.

Bottom line: You can do this task yourself if you already know a great deal about the process (or are willing to take the time to learn what you need to) and if you have the critical tools.
